I understand my Cannabis use thru two modalities: body intelligence & mind intelligence.
My body has held onto my trauma of sexual assault - the guilt, the shame, the fear - which in turn has manifested into physical chronic pain over the years. Between my endometriosis and migraines - Cannabis as a topical is always my #1 in my first aid kit. Lotion, gels, balms & bathbombs. Did you know your skin is one the largest organs that can ingest cannabis and CBD in a medicinal way? BATHTIME IS MY FAVORITE TIME. Cannabis is truly healing and beneficial for my physical well-being.
My mind, emotions & mental state, as a stellium Scorpio - are always intense. Whether it’s been my increasing anxiety over the pandemic or getting TOO in my head about intimacy or channeling creativity to connect to my soul purpose or just to relax & day dream...Cannabis gets me into the correct sacred space. MY ALIGNED sacred space. Personally I haven’t smoked flower in a minute, but low dosing with edibles like mints & drops, measured tinctures or even CBD Tea - has been my go to for relief & expansion.
Our body & mind intelligence are extremely interwoven whether we realize it or not. And Cannabis speaks to both CLEARLY. Only recently am I able to start a true healing partnership with Cannabis on compounding levels on my life.
I started @sacredsaturdaze as a Cannabis space to learn & grow - where we can exchange our existences with each other, explore vetted brands that not only have amazing products but are also active in Cannabis Policy & Equity.
The reconnection to ourselves, to nature, and to our community is the way through, together.
